In 1998, Susan co-founded MaGIC, Inc. – the first screening company to emphasize the importance of strategic data implementation plans. While President of MaGIC, Inc., she worked with some of the largest nonprofit organizations in the country, including The Salvation Army, Purdue University, and the Providence Healthcare System, to identify prospects capable of making five, six and even seven-figure gifts. She has also worked with more than 600 YMCAs to research their membership files and develop specific steps for turning members into major donors.
A recognized expert in the field of prospect research, Susan speaks regularly at industry conferences and seminars including the Association of Fundraising Professionals International Conference, Association of Prospect Research for Advancement International Conference, National Association of YMCA Development Officers Conference, and many AHP and AFP chapters. Susan is a graduate of Georgia State University. She is a devoted pug owner and lives with her husband, Rob, in Atlanta.
